This lovely, two-bedroom, two-bath, vacation rental home-away-from-home, located at 811 Vanitie Ct in Mission Beach, is steps to our beautiful Mission Bay and a few more steps to the Pacific Ocean. It comprises the entire floor of our brand-new custom building on a charming court in North Mission Beach, San Diego, California, offering a private fenced yard with pieceful fountain, and a private, bay view,dining area with gas barbecue.
AND, it is within a five- to ten-minute walk to a wide variety of restaurants and shops, and a short drive to Sea World and other local attractions. It is a perfect getaway!
You are comfortable in our hideaway regardless of the season. It is light and airy, with ceiling fans in each room for warmer days, and a fireplace and central thermostat heating during the cooler days. Granite counters & vanities. Purified water from every tap & to icemaker in fridge.
You have off-street parking for one car, a private washer/dryer, and much more:
* Master bedroom with queen-size bed, TV/cable and private full bath
* Second bedroom with a queen-size bed.
* Air bed with electric pump available in living room for 5th person.
* Separate full bath with tub/shower.
* Fully-equipped kitchen for casual or gourmet cooking. Gas oven/stove, toaster oven, crock pot, blender, etc. Granite counters and an island with bar stools adjacent to indoor eating area.
* Separate inside eating area seating four comfortably, also with fireplace view.

Wonderful location!
This place is so cute and perfectly located! It is 1 minute to walk to the bay and 2 minutes to walk to the ocean. There are places to eat and shop within walking distance. It is a short drive to Seaworld, Balboa Park, Old Town and downtown. It is about a 3 minute drive to Belmont Park. The owner lives very close and is very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely stay here next time we visit San Diego!

Great Location!
This has the best location in Mission Beach! Just a few steps from the bay and the Baywalk and a block to the beach! Bill was a great host and provides bikes, beach chairs, a tandem kayak and more!

Mission Bay Hideaway
Great location! So close to the beach that you are NOT wore out by the time you get to your umbrella. It has all the conveniences, you would ever want. The outdoor patio is beautiful, perfect for breakfast in the morning or relaxing and sipping a glass of wine in the evening. The host was friendly and readily available. Wonderful decor. Would definitely recommend. Hope to return soon.

Great Location
This was the perfect spot for all our favorite activities. We did not get in the car once all week. Walked to Ralph's, the pier, our favorite restaurants. Easy stroll straight to the bay or across the street to the ocean. This was by far the nicest house we've rented for just the two of us, but there is plenty of room for another couple. Everything we needed was provided from the towels to the grill to the kayak. We will definitely be back.

Magical Mission Beach
Our family had so much fun during our stay. The fact that Mission Bay Hideaway had so many beach toys to play with added to our experience. Everyday it seemed like we were using the kayak, bikes, SUP, beach gear, etc. We even rented a boat one day on the Bay which was a first for us. Our kids really enjoyed our time out on the water. Having a full kitchen was great as we split our time evenly between eating in and eating out (so many yummy restaurants within walking diatance). We also took advantage of our great location by taking a day to visit the San Diego Zoo. Our rental was perfect for our family which included an 8 month old and two 11 year olds. Bill was very friendly and helpful in terms of any questions we had. I highly recommend staying here and we can't wait until we can come back again.
