This family-run business is one of the few Ethiopian restaurants in San Francisco proper, first in the Tenderloin, and now with a second location in Mission Bay. Expect spongy flatbread, thick stews, and lamb tibs tossed with berbere and chiles.

There are more than 20 beers on tap here, including a lineup of their bestselling Belgian-style beers, along with a food menu created by founding Noosh chefs Laura and Sayat Ozyilmaz.
Farmer Brown and Isla Vida may have closed, but their sibling restaurant is still serving fried chicken and waffles for takeout, delivery, and outdoor dining. Technically in China Basin, it’s just across the bridge and down a back alley, and a hidden lunch opportunity.
Pacific breezes and fire features create an intimate indoor/outdoor atmosphere for indulging in the local bounty at Covewood. Restaurants and dining in San Diego Mission Bay are rarely this delicious.
